"Yeah.. Same kind of stuff, been feeling queasy and tired. But I feel way better today..." Nami said before trailing off for a few seconds, she was trying to think of the best way to ask her next question. She couldn't just out right ask if Kris had opened a portal to another space! After a few more seconds pondering how to ask the questions, she just out right asked in a quick pace "Has anything weird happened to you?" (Hey, hey. Hey. Hey there. I'll take this away when you notice me. Or you can. Fine. Be that way.) | |

I said 'kinda', didn't I? Because it was a dream, of course. A portal opening dream." Oh my, but Kris is getting a little defensive. | |

Yeah. It was really, really... Real. Feeling." She added 'feeling' shortly after, though it was more of an after thought. | |

I-" There was barking from her no longer Swedish Vallhund, but actually now a German Shepherd, because they are cool too, and jumped up. She watched Nami carefully, deciding if what she was about to do was the best course of action. She didn't want Nami to report that she was insane, now did she? That would pretty much ruin any life in America that she had built. But also, it seemed a lot like the redhead was hinting at exactly that. "So... Do you, ah... Did you /actually/ open a portal, as well?" She asked cautiously, her German accent going up half an octave. | |

Nami was shocked to hear Kris' question, but she was also extremely relived. She wasn't the only crazy one! Nami was lost in thought, while she was trying to find the best response, when a dog's barking brought her out of it. "Yes, I did. I was thinking about what it would be like to live in the Doctor Who universe when the portal opened. I actually stuck my head through and it was just an empty meadow. What happened when yours opened?" Nami was scared that she had said too much. 'Please don't let this have been a joke, and now she really thinks I'm crazy...' Nami thought to herself, while she waited for Kris' response. | |

Site Owner Posts: 68 | "I was playing Fable. Third, my favorite. I don't know how you feel about video games, but I suggest you check the series out. It's /really/ fun. It's about-" Kris caught herself beginning a very long rant about the game, and stopped herself before it could go further. "Uh, well, yeah- It's a favorite of mine, and I was doing something very much like you were. I suppose it's normal to wonder what it would be like in the other world, yes? A portal opened beside me; Wouldn't have noticed if not for Faust." Kreszentia gestured in the direction of the barking, "And then I went to check it out. I eventually wandered in and saw that I was surrounded by Albion- In the Throne Room, to be exact. The king was sitting up there, forcing his sister to kill either Elliot or the Villagers. I... Sort of told them I was their Maker, and said I was there to make sure the Princess didn't kill anybody. Not sure how that worked out. I left immediately after." There was a pause, before she let out the tiniest of laughs. "Please don't think I'm insane." | |

After listening to Kris' explanation of her experience, Nami's eyes widened "So, if you actually went into a video game... That means I was really in the Doctor Who universe?! When I peeked through mine, it was only an empty meadow, so I thought I might have just been outside on our world." she said with a mixture of shock, nervousness, and excitement.
After a few moments of silence Nami said "That's so awesome! I want to check it out again. I might meet the Doctor this time! And I want to go to Fable, I may not know a lot about it, but I have played a little of it before." she stated, before realizing the potential consequences. "But wait... If we fully go in one of those worlds.. What if we don't know how to get home? Then we'll be stuck in a world where anything and everything can and will try to kill us!" | |

Kres couldn't deny how bloody excited that made her. ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ It was quiet for a few moments, until Nami spoke again. "That's true... What if we're trapped forever in a world of demons? Not exactly the most favorable idea... So we just... Go to a safe world. One exactly like ours. Like New Girl or How I Met Your Mother!" | |

Member Posts: 68 | After hearing Kris' suggestions, Nami became really excited. "Oh my gosh, yes! How I Met You Mother is perfect. It's just like our world, but it has Barney in it!" Nami could almost squeal like a fan girl at the thought of meeting Barney and the gang, but she did her best to hold it in. "So... All we have to do is think of the world we want to go to, and the portal should open?" Nami said more to herself than to Kris. She spent the next few moments concentrating on one phrase over and over:I want to go to How I Met Your Mother's universe. Suddenly there was a suking sounds and a portal opened in the middle of the living room. "...I opened it, you should be the first to try it out." Nami suggested, a little apprehensive about going through the portal. | |

Or- Or Marshall, who's always, /always/ hilarious, no matter what?" A few seconds later, the portal was opened, and Kreszentia looked at Nami questioningly. Not that she thought anything would really happen, but what if that wasn't the world of HIMYM? What if Nami was setting her up for a trap? No reason to, surely, but you never know. "Alright." Kris gave a nod, before bracing herself and stepping through. The moment she stepped out on the other side, she was almost hit by a car that was forced to quickly swerve around her. She flinched, yelling a 'sorry!' before looking around her. The road was wet with what looked like the aftermath of rain, bright, colorful lights with seemingly no end, the tall buildings stood intimidatingly above her; Yep, no doubt about it. They were in New York. | |

"Well, of course I want to meet Ted and Marshall as well! I'm just more excited about Barney is all.." Nami said to a portal. Kris already having gone through it, not even waiting for a response. Nami took a deep breath before following Kris through the portal. The first thing Nami noticed was that she was in the middle of a road, which she quickly got off of, before a car had a chance to hit her. Looking around she took in just how amazing New York was: She had never seen buildings so big and tall. It was so colorful with all the lights and billboards. It was just brustling with people, it was a breath taking first sight. Then she took a second look, and noticed just how many people there are, how busy the roads were, and just how loud it was. It was different than anything else Nami had ever experienced. She wasn't sure how she felt about it.. Looking around again, she quickly spotted Kris and went over to her. "What should we do first?" she asked.

She finally said, walking down the steps that lead to the one and only Maclaren's Pub. She looked behind her, and sent Nami a smile before opening the door and being greeted with the hustle and bustle of everyone's favorite bar. | |

Member Posts: 68 | Nami didn't have a second thought before barging into the bar after Kris. The gang was likely to be in there right now! She could hardly hold in her exciment. After quickly locating Kris, Nami asked " Do you see them anywhere?" | |
